The studio version was no different in that it starts off with a BANG! I wasnвЂ™t surprised to see that this was the first song listed on their full album because itвЂ™s such a kick-ass song and a great opening song I couldnвЂ™t really imagine anything else coming first. They opened with вЂњLove Bites (So Do I)вЂќ with Arejay counting down on the drums. The EP, entitled вЂњHello, ItвЂ™s Mz HydeвЂќ began just as I remembered it when I saw Halestorm perform. And I listened to each and every one, taking everything in.

Having heard two of the four songs live I was at least familiar with вЂњLove Bites (So Do I)вЂќ and вЂњHereвЂ™s to UsвЂќ but had no idea what to expect from the other two.ДЄfter previewing each song on iTunes I knew it was inevitable I wouldnвЂ™t be able to wait any longer. Once midnight rolled around though I knew that iTunes would have four new songs for Halestorm fans to sink their teeth into and not just one like we all thought. I couldnвЂ™t be sure until it turned midnight when they would have it officially available for the public to get their hands on. That was when I wondered if Halestorm was going to surprise their fans by not only releasing one but four songs as part of a new EP. I was very familiar with this song but I had only ever heard it live and couldnвЂ™t wait to hear the studio version. I also heard that the song they were going to release would be none other than вЂњLove Bites (So Do I)вЂќ, a song I had heard performed live last December. In keeping up with the latest news about HalestormвЂ™s new album, entitled вЂњThe Strange Case OfвЂ¦вЂќ which is scheduled to be released on April 10, 2012, I discovered that they would be releasing a single on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.

What can I say about HalestormвЂ™s music that isnвЂ™t anything short of amazing? Only that they keep doing what they do best and their newest EP release is the perfect example.
